I’m so happy you’re here! Color is such a broad and fascinating subject, in this course, I’ve broken it down into six clear modules. By the time you understand each of them, I’m confident you’ll take your color skills to the next level.
This course has been a dream of mine for many years, since 2021 (whaaat?). From research, to teaching these concepts and discovering what really makes them click for my students, to recording the lessons, every step has led to this moment. And now I’m thrilled to finally share it with you.
To follow this course, all you need is an iPad, an Apple Pencil and Procreate installed. That said, the focus of this course is really on seeing and designing color, not just on the app itself. I’ve even had students follow along with gouache and acrylic, and they still found the lessons valuable. So while the demos are in Procreate, the concepts and exercises apply to any medium you enjoy working with.
We’ll work on many portraits, but also explore other subjects like animals and plants, so you can practice applying color across a variety of forms. And if you don’t have experience with portraits, don’t worry, I provide the drawings, so you can focus entirely on learning and experimenting with color.
This course is designed for every level. Beginners can start from the very beginning, while more advanced artists can use Modules 1 and 2 as a refresher, then dive deeper into the advanced concepts in Modules 3 through 6.

One thing led to another, and before I knew it, this course had grown into a full, 8-hour journey. Only one hour of content was previously published, the rest is completely new, carefully organized, and ready to help you level up your color skills.

I’m a Spanish artist and creative teacher based in the Netherlands, I grew up in an artistic environment, my mother being a sculptor, which inspired me to explore my own creativity from an early age. I believe that portraits can be a very powerful way to express emotions and human beauty. It is a language on its own, that doesn’t use words to communicate, this is why most of my work revolves around portraits.Â
I work with a mix of watercolor and procreate, which allows me to work digitally but keep a traditional handmade feel to my artwork.
